Personal Coaching for Women

Are you aware that you are not doing the things that are important to you?

Are you feeling stuck in relation to a change you want to make?

Would you like a safe supportive relationship in which to explore where you are, where you want to be and how you want to move forward?

I have worked with women from all walks of life who are seeking answers to some of the above questions. I understand what it’s like to hang on to our sense of self whilst juggling multiple roles and responsibilities. To keep moving forward in a world that presents many barriers to our progress and to give ourselves permission to lean into being the amazing women we really are.

I am committed to working with women to support them in exploring how they can live a life aligned to their values, priorities and aspirations.

I have a deep respect for the connection between what we do, how we behave and who we become. This golden thread runs through my coaching. I know that you already have within you what you need to create your own solutions given the right support and encouragement. I understand that this is serious work but that doesn’t mean that we can’t laugh and have fun along the way. Here is what some women have said about their experience of being coached by me…….

I have been able to confidently plan to action certain parts of my life in ways I wasn’t confident to previously and have made large life steps within the year of knowing Lynne. I have successfully been promoted at work, progressed positively with my work / life balance and feel less anxious in general as I am more in touch with how I feel. I have learned to embrace the emotions I have, but not to let them stifle my actions. I feel more confident to live the life I always wanted to live and with Lynne’s facilitation I have been able to start being more relaxed, confident and just being me.

I contacted Lynne because I was in a professional ‘stalemate’. I knew I needed to move but was not able to see the different options I had. I was desperately looking for time in the day to ‘get stuff done’ but was unable to prioritise and I felt I was not at the steering wheel of my own vehicle. Within a few weeks I felt much lighter and by the end of the journey I was keen to try many new avenues. Working with Lynne, I got to explore possibilities with a sense of fun and freedom I had lost in my busy schedule. Making decisions is much easier now I felt safe working with Lynne. I never felt judged or guilty if I had not had the time to work on my assignments! Lynne helped me see the paths without pointing at them, she helped me discover them through encouragement. I started the journey looking for the path to a health work-life balance. I did not imagine at the end of it I would be finding myself. What a find! Now I am taking care of what is important to me and I find time to take care of what is important to my family and friends.

“I have thoroughly benefitted from my life coaching sessions with Lynne.  She certainly challenged me at times but I see now that that was absolutely necessary to get me to the point of fully reaching my goal.  My expectations were not only achieved but exceeded.  Sincere thanks Lynne and I wouldn’t hesitate in working with you again in the future.  Sarah

Are you ready to take the next step?

Making a commitment to change is a courageous step and here is some information about what you can expect when you contact me.

We will arrange a phone call to explore, what has brought you to consider coaching, if coaching is the right approach for you and if I am the right person to coach you. The call is free and informal and will provide you with the opportunity to ask any questions you might have.

If you wish to progress we will then arrange the first session. The initial ‘discovery session’ is usually around an hour and a half followed by a series of one hour sessions at approximately 2-3 week intervals.  The number of sessions is something we will discuss but you will be asked to commit initially to 5 sessions. I am happy to coach you face to face, via Skype or over the phone.

Fundamental to my coaching is an emphasis on moving forward and therefore all sessions will end with an agreed action informed by what we have explored during the session. We will check in on your learning at the start of the next session.

I am a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach and member of the International Coaching Federation and I follow their codes of ethics.

If you are always trying to be normal you will never know how amazing you can be

Courage doesn’t always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, “I will try again tomorrow”
